Is Your Child Distracted or Having a Difficult Time Focusing?
Once you have this discussion, including students in the plan to remedy some of these issues will really help them buy into it. It will also help the conversation by helping them take ownership of what has caused the distractions.
How Can My Child Create an Effective AT-Home Workspace?
Students should also be in a place where they can turn on their camera and have it positioned so that the teacher can see a student's entire face. We understand the huge dislike of being on Zoom, but students being on camera allows the teachers to make sure that students are engaged and focused during instruction. We have been seeing many students' foreheads and ceilings, and–as beautiful as that is–we need to see their faces :).

We Are Here to Help!
We are reachable by phone, but please remember that the Red Lions teachers do not have a private workspace during prep periods or a specific classroom during lessons. This situation makes it difficult to respond quickly to phone messages and makes email the most effective way to contact us.
