Project Lead The Way Launch Showcase School
Gulf Elementary has been selected by Project Lead The Way as a 2015-2016 PLTW Launch Showcase School for its excellence in creating an integrated learning experience, blending computer science, engineering, biomedical science, and more for students in K-5.
As a PLTW Launch Showcase School, Gulf Elementary will work closely with Project Lead The Way to lead innovation in education through the hosting and mentoring of other schools in Florida as they begin implementing PLTW Launch. We are excited to share our experiences with other schools in our community as we continue to engage our students in critical and creative thinking, building teamwork skills, and continuing to try again when faced with challenges.
Being selected as a Project Lead The Way Launch Showcase School is an amazing honor and recognition of the passion our teachers and staff have for helping young minds discover the wonder of science, technology, engineering, and math. Thank you Mrs. Stratton for leading the way with PLTW!
