Multimedia Presentations using PowerPoint!- Grade 4
Grade 4 students chose an ecosystem, conducted research and created an engaging PowerPoint. Their PowerPoint's use words, pictures, background colors, sound and transitions to communicate information about their ecosystem to other students. These presentation skills will serve them well in the future.
Identifying Resources-Grade 3
Grade 3 students took a Trails Assessment pretest this fall on identifying resources. We will learn about encyclopedias, atlases, dictionaries, almanacs, thesauruses and websites. The key is to know when to use each. We will ten take a summative test and see how much they have improved.
Grade 5 Making Graphs in Excel
Grade 5 is learning how to make a graph in Microsoft Excel. These graphs include data, title, axis labels, color and must be fit to a page. Graphs are excellent ways to communicate information visually and will be a useful skill for students in middle school. In the fall we took a pretest to see what the children knew. We will ten take a summative test in the spring and see how much they have improved
