People need language to communicate. Language is a means to communicate information. Cuneiform is an example of language in Mesopotamia. It is their first writing
So people can believe in something. Religion is a certain god people believe in. In Mesopotamia, people were polytheism, which means that they believed in many gods. Now, people have religions, people are what they want to be if the are Christian, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, what ever they want to be.
People need art to express them self. Art can be how they wrote, how they made pictures many different things. Maybe the Assyrians were planning out the battle fight. People use are with crayons, markers, paints, and other things to make a picture to express them self or to have fun.
So they can have laws (rules) to actually know or have a job. Government is governed by one ruler and he makes the rules and systems. It is used in Mesopotamia so people could trade and get things they needed. Every state has a government with their own rules.
So the Mesopotamian people could use the invented things for astronomy. Technology is a new, modern, way we call people, send mail, and many other things. We know that Mesopotamia used it because they had astronomy by looking through a telescope to see stars. We use it a lot at this day. We use phones to text, call, play games and many other things.
So they have more than enough food to last a long time. Surplus is an amount left over with food. They had more than enough crops, food, and water. At this day, grocery stores have a surplus of food that we buy so we have a surplus of food.
So the people are grouped on if they are slaved, enslaved, kings, or peasants. Social classes are classes grouped on rich or not. People had it in Mesopotamia for peoples lives grouped up. We can buy good or bad houses based our money today.
