Walter Elias Disney was born on December 5th, 1901 in Chicago, Illinois. He had 4 sisters and grew up with a few different jobs. He helped his dad, hung out at his sibling's farm, and drove a ambulance in France. He enjoyed drawing, and nature
Getting Down to Business
Walt had a hard time getting his business going. He tried to open a business called Laugh-o-Gram, but he went bankrupt, and moved to Hollywood with only 40 dollars in his wallet.
Rising to the Top
Shortly after moving to Hollywood, Walter came up with Micky Mouse, which was named Mortimer at the time. On the third cartoon(Steamboat Willie), Walt added sound, and it was a big success! It beat every other cartoon in the area, and won Walter ultimate fame.

Overcoming the Challenge
Walt Disney overcame the challenge that most face, trying to become popular. He struggled with his first business, and he though he didn't stand a chance. In the end, Walter became a role model for many people. Walter always said " Do a good job. Don't worry about the money; it will take care of itself. Just do your best work-then try to trump it."
