Principal's Note: Sherwood Family Wishtree Padlet

To go along with our Wishtree story virtual read aloud, we invite all of our Sherwood parents, students and staff to write a wish you have for the world, your community, your family, friends or yourself. Please sign your wish with your first name and last initial and post to our Sherwood Wishtree Padlet Board. We will share our completed Wishtree Board in next week's Panda Prints.

Thank you SO MUCH to Helen Weiss for creating this Padlet activity for our families and staff!

Social Emotional Support @Sherwood

Hello from the Sherwood social workers and school psychologist. We are writing to let you know that we will be holding "office hours" on Mondays from 1:30-2:30. This time will be available for any student or parent who would like to discuss concerns in a one-on-one setting. To access these services, please click on the zoom link below. You will be admitted to a "waiting room" where we will then be able to assign you to a breakout session with one of us. As always, you can email us directly if you have questions or concerns. We are here to support you during this changing time.

Class Placement 2020-21 Parent Input Form

We are approaching the time of the year when we begin to consider our student placement for next school year. As has been the practice in years past, student placement will continue to be a collaborative, individualized process. The placement process includes a review of each child's individual learning and social-emotional needs with a team of teachers, including your child's classroom teacher, the specials’ teachers, and resource teachers.

If you feel that extraordinary factors exist of which the school should be aware, please fill out THIS FORM by May 15, 2020.

PTO School Supplies

Message from our Sherwood PTO:

The Sherwood school supplies sale is now open. Yes, it’s an odd year, but we still need to prepare for school in the fall! Pre-packed school supplies are cost-effective & hassle-free. Order now and we’ll deliver right to your child’s classroom.

Teachers love it when all the kids have the same set of supplies and are ready to go on the first day of school.
