METALS,NON-METALS AND METALLOIDS
MS.BROWNS CLASS 8TH PERIOD. By: Lisa Robledo
METALS
- metals can conduct heat well and they are conductors they can conduct to electricity well. For example gold it is a metal it does conduct heat and electricity. Its yellow,it is heavy, and its soft.
NON-METALS
- Non-metals dont conduct electricty or heat. Some are gases or solids but the solids are brittle. For example carbon,Carbon is black, its dull, and brittle.
METALLOIDS
SILICON
- Metalloids are separating the metals from the non-metals in the periodic table of elements solids are semi-conductors and some can conduct electricity. For example , silicon it is kinda silvery, its a solid, and its shiny
