Register Now for March Kids Cook! Eggs
Kids Cook! March Sessions are an exciting culinary adventure designed for students in grades K-12. In this special edition, students will be exploring savory flavors through a delicious and easy recipe.
Students in grades K-5 and 6-12, get ready for a fantastic, flavor-filled adventure! In these awesome sessions, we're teaming up with our pals at Kids Cook to learn how to make a tasty garden quiche! You will learn how about cracking eggs, whisking eggs, pouring, filling, sprinkling,
how to make substitutions when you don’t have all the ingredients.
K-5 session is on 3/5/24 3:00 PM ET.
6-12 session is on 3/6/24 at 4:00 PM ET.

K12 Minecraft Education Build Challenge
Open to enrolled students grades 6-12
Students will form teams of 2-5 and be given a prompt to build in Minecraft Education
Round 1: Participants will compete with other participating students within their school.
Teams will have 5 days (March 25 – March 29) to complete and submit their build.
The overall winning team from each school will advance to Round 2 of the competition.
Round 2: Winners from Round 1 will compete in Round 2, where they will compete against the other school.
The winning team will win a trip to the ISTE Conference in Denver, June 2024, to compete live and represent K12 at ISTE.

The 2024 K12 Art Competition is Open! Enter Today!
Registration is now open for the 2024 K12 Art Competition! Open to all students in grades K-12! Students are invited to submit an entry of their artwork by 3/25!
This year there are 3 exciting categories to enter:
- Physical Art - This category includes any 2D art you create physically—drawing, painting, charcoal, collages, prints, and more.
- Digital Art - Students can submit digital illustrations, pixel art, and any art created using a computer, smartphone, tablet, or other technology to this category.
- AI Art - AI art includes any image created using AI tools and will be judged based on the prompt entered into the AI software. You can use any program, but we recommend DALL-E, Midjourney, or starryai.
Plus $20,000 of prizes!
A panel of judges will select physical and digital art winners and AI-generated art will be judged based on popular vote.

Public Voting for Game On K12 opens March 13 - March 27
One student from each grade-band will be named the Peoples’ Choice Winner. Each Peoples' Choice Winners will receive $100 Amazon gift card. Vote now for your favorite trailer. Winners will be announced on March 29, 2024.
Young Minds and Big Ideas Can Save the Planet with the 2024 Innovation Challenge!
Registration for the 2024 Innovation Challenge is CLOSED!
Students in grades K-5 (Elementary) and 6-12 (Middle/High School) were invited to submit creative solutions for safeguarding our delicate ecosystems in one of the following categories:
- Habitat Restoration
- Ocean Vitality
- Future Farm
- Endangered Species
- Animal Welfare & Rescue
- Community Engagement
PRIZES will be awarded to top proposals from each grade band.
Winners will be announced on April 22, 2024
K12 National Photography Competition is Now CLOSED
We've teamed up with the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) to bring you the in-person reveal of our In-Focus Photography Competition winners January 27th, 2024.
Watch the unforgettable moment as we reveal the winners of the 2023 K12 In Focus Photography Competition, live-streamed from the beautiful city of Savannah, Georgia, in partnership with the Savannah College of Art and Design!
This event showcased the incredible talent of young photographers from across the nation, with winners announced in three categories: DSLR, Smartphone, and Film. Each grade band (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12) will have its 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners revealed, highlighting the diverse creativity and skill within each age group.
SCAD also hosted an exclusive photo shoot opportunity with professional photographers to help our winners sharpen their skills.

The K12 Robotics League is fun, educational, and a fantastic opportunity for students to explore potential career paths in technology and engineering.

Zooventure! Inside the Nashville Zoo's Vet Hospital (3/15)
Join us for a captivating Zooventure virtual field trip to the Nashville Zoo, where we'll take an exclusive peek into the world of specialized animal care. This session will feature a behind-the-scenes look at the cutting-edge equipment and highly trained staff dedicated to the well-being of the zoo's inhabitants and answers to your questions!

Live from Oosterschelde! Sailing the Coast of Chile and Peru (3/14)
Join us onboard the tall ship Oosterschelde as it sails along the coast of Chile and Peru. We'll beam live aboard the ship for a tour and to see what it's like to be sailing on the open ocean. This voyage is part of an expedition called Darwin200, the Oosterschelde will spend the next two years following Charles Darwin's Voyage of the Beagle and sailing around the world. We'll learn about the journey so far and the adventures they've had with whales, penguins, dolphins, sea turtles and so much more. Using drones and ROV's they've been exploring the ocean and the land everywhere that they visit and sharing the stories of the people, places and animals!

Get ready to make a splash in the world of North American river otters while learning about our residents! Hang out with a Clearwater Marine Aquarium biologist as we dive into otterly amazing facts about their swimming skills, hunting tactics, and social otter-tainment in the wild.

Do you love playing Minecraft, and you want to share your passion of gaming with other students who also love it? We we are excited to share that starting this school year, we are launching a monthly Minecraft Challenge for Kindergarten-12th grade students!

Stride Esports & Summer Camps
Join Esports! Your student will benefit from character development, discipline, self-esteem, and sportsmanship through gameplay! This spring, we will have tournaments in League of Legends, Fortnite, Rocket League, and Chess! For students ages 13+.
If competing is not for your student, join us for our game nights! We host social game nights twice a week on Zoom, where your student can meet friends, play games, and have fun! Click here to register for the summer game nights!

O365 Sign-In Changes
New Sign-In Page
K12 is making some changes to make logging into your O365 account even easier. Starting Dec 10th, when signing in to your 0365 account directly you will now be asked for your Stride Username as opposed to using your school email as the username. This will be the same username and password you log into the online school. This change will only affect when logging into O365 directly. If you access your inbox/outbox from a quick link in the OLS or OMHS, you will automatically be taken to your O365 account still.
