From the Principal's Desk...
Parents and Guardians,
I hope everyone had a relaxing long weekend! Our teachers had a great two days of professional development last week that will help them prepare for the end of the trimester on November 5th. Just a couple of reminders for the next few weeks:
Out of uniform - All students are out of uniform tomorrow October 14th as a reward for 100% participation in the St. John’s Spectacular basket donation. Please make sure that your child(ren) are dressed appropriately for a Catholic School.
Fall Play - Good Luck to our Performing Arts Troupe will be performing the fall play this Friday for their peers.
Buses - NWLSD informed us last weekend that they will be cancelling multiple bus routes each week due to a driver shortage. We will send a One Call each weekend with the cancellations for the week. Tomorrow NWLSD bus 25 will not be running.
Walk-a-thon - The next turn-in for our Walk-a-ween (Walk for Technology) will be on Friday October 15th. Please send in your donations so that we can update our progress towards our goal of raising $10,000. Please see below for more information.
St. John’s Spectacular - Tickets are on sale now for the St. John’s Spectacular. Please see the links below to purchase tickets and check out the amazing items that will be available through the live and silent auctions.
We have a lot of information throughout this newsletter so please keep scrolling so you can stay informed of what is going on in- and outside of our building.

This event’s sole purpose is to raise funds to bridge the gap between what is received in tuition and what the actual cost is to educate each student. We need your support to keep your tuition costs as low as possible. Over the last two years this event made it possible for tuition increases to be only $75 each year and held registration fees stable. Thanks to your support we raised over $160,000 in two years. Let’s make this our best year yet!
