Conferences
Wednesday, October 24th:
8:00-8:45
4:45-8:00
Thursday, October 25th:
8:00-7:00
Some of you may want to go ahead and start getting out information to your parents to sign up for conferences. You can send this out electronically if you wish, or use a paper form. If you do this electronically, please make sure your times are the same as on the paper form. As you can see, you will need to have conference times from 8:00-8:45 as well as 4:45-8:00 on Wednesday. This allows for families who need early times to have a couple of options. During conferences, all staff members a total of 15 hours giving us Friday off.
*Please work with Special Education and ESL teachers to coordinate scheduling.
* When you have your schedule ready, please send it to Linda and Beverly.
Copy Machines
Below is the information from our staff handbook regarding making copies.
Copy Machines
The workroom copier should be used for classroom sets. The single-copy machine in the office is not for classroom sets or over 3 copies of any material. Teachers will need to use this periodically but should not expect office personnel to take care of their instructional copying needs.
Do not leave any machine jammed, out of paper, out of toner, etc. Leave the machine in working condition as a courtesy to the next user. Please notify the office ASAP when the toner indicator is on or of other repairs/needs that require special attention.
Let the office know if the toner needs replaced.
Planning ahead at least three days prior is encouraged. Please do not rely on machines to be in working order the day copies are needed.
Limit your copies to what is necessary for the current time. Do not violate copyright or make several copies of something for the purpose of having them “in case” you want them in the future. This is a wasteful practice.
Do not over utilize volunteers for copying. We must portray that we are good stewards of tax payers’ money and model ethical practice concerning copyright and quality teaching.
STUDENTS SHOULD NOT RETRIEVE copies from the copier or building printers.
Do not leave your teaching post to use the copier.
