Last Day of School
Due to inclement weather days and the cancellation of days for the 2022-2023 school year, GCS will be in session until Friday, June 9, 2023. Friday will be a half day for students with the following dismissal times:

NOE: 11:55 AM
SME: 11:24 AM
Chocolat Haus Fundraiser Prizes
This year marked another successful fundraiser for GIS. Students will be receiving their prize bags this week and we have a number of events planned for students who qualified for different prizes. Here are the tentative dates for fundraiser activities:
- May 8- Community Center Fun for 4th and 6th Grade students
- May 10- Community Center Fun for 5th Grade students
- May 11- Pizza Lunch with the Principals
- May 12- Prize Raffle
** Students will receive an invite ticket in their prize bag to let them know they qualify for an event. A student does not need to have that ticket with them on the prize day. We have a master list of students.**
OK2SAY Program
Safety and Security is top priority for Gaylord Community Schools and we wanted to provide a link for the state wide OK2SAY program. OK2SAY is the student safety program which allows students to confidentially report tips on potential harm or criminal activities directed at students, school employees, and schools. It uses a comprehensive communication system to facilitate tip sharing among students, parents, school personnel, community mental health service programs, and law enforcement officials about harmful behaviors that threaten to disrupt the learning environment.
