Robotics Team Competition

The 8th Grade PLTW/AVID robotics team competed in Tuscaloosa last weekend. It was a great experience, and they are looking forward to it again next year. Students heard from UA alumni Chris Crawford, PhD, about Brain-Robot Interactions and Brain-Computer Interfaces (controlling a robot with your brain waves). Thank you to Mrs. Merrill for providing our students with this opportunity, and a special thanks to Firia Labs for providing the robots for the students to code.
