Amelia Earhart

The lady who made a difference

How it started.

Amelia Earhart didn't always want to be a pilot, but she realized that she wanted to fly planes, when she was given a plane ride by a man at an air convention. After that day she got several jobs until she had enough money to get air lessons. She had to ride a bus and then walk 6 km, just to get there, but she was desperate to fly.

First flight.

One day Amelia was at work, she got a phone call asking "would you like to be the first lady to fly over the Atlantic Ocean . Amelia was overjoyed, but she didn't do much she just sat there like baggage. But later on her time came, she went to fly over the Atlantic Ocean solo, and she was the first lady to do it.
