The Himalayas are a mountain range in the north part of India that has the tallest mountain on the planet, Mount Everest, in Nepal. Also the Himalayas are the mountain range that make India a subcontinent. Also the Great Indian Desert in the northwest of India. It covers 200,000 square kilometers. The Western Ghat is a jungle in the southwest of India. It contains tropical birds like toucans and parrots. The Ganges Plain is the Plain that got flooded by the summer monsoon. The Ganges and the Indus rivers are also major parts in India's geography.
