Principal Preston’s Message
Dear DMA Giraffe Nation,
Your partnership with our campus to grow our students makes a strong impression. As we continue to end our school year strong with our Vision and Mission of DMA guiding us, reflect on how it has made a difference. Was it impactful, influential, and important? Has it helped you develop your knowledge of DMA and the community we serve? Is your child better because of your commitment to them and their journey this year? I love Dr. Suess's quote, "Don't cry because it's over; smile because it HAPPENED.!" I am so proud of what we have been able to experience and accomplish. It genuinely makes me smile!
We have less than two weeks left, and we will end stronger than we started because of our courageous faculty, resilient children, and caring community!
Reminders: All student devices must be brought to school. We are taking end-of-the-year assessments, and they will use them during this time. Please help us with attendance. School starts at 7:45 am. We need your child at school every day until our last day ends on May 27th.
We Do This Work Together! Have a fantastic week!
Honored to serve,
Tabitha J. Preston
Principal
¡Realmente me hace sonreír!
Tabitha J. Preston

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month
In 1990, Congress designated the entire month of May as Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month.
This month, Dallas ISD is providing a series of highly engaging programs and activities centered around the celebration, empowerment, remembrance, and appreciation of our students' cultural heritages.
