Parent Teacher Conferences
Wayland Union High School Parent Teacher Conferences will be on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Conferences for our 2nd Trimester will be done via email, phone call, and in some instances Zoom meetings. In this format, email will be the easiest way for you to communicate with your son or daughter's teachers.
As always, Infinite Campus is available to parents to review and see their child's progress.
Should you choose to call, call the high school at 269-792-2254 and follow the directions provided to you in the recording and then dial your teachers extension. If they are not already in a meeting they will answer. If not, please leave a message and they will follow up with you later that evening or within 1 to 2 business days following.
If you would like to Zoom with a teacher, please email them to check for their availability during that evening and establish a time prior to the actual night of conferences.
Thank you again for your patience and flexibility as we continue to work through these unique educational times!
From the Guidance Office
Scheduling for next year's classes will begin next week. Group A will begin the process on January 19 and Group B will will begin on January 21st. Please check out the Guidance Office website for more information!
Please make sure your student has a mask everyday. It's a good idea to even throw a few extra masks in their backpack just in case!
ACATEC will return to in person instruction on Monday, January 18. Wayland Schools will be closed that day, so ACATEC attendance is optional. Wayland students are required to be in person at ACATEC on Tuesday, January 19.
Have your student add you as a guardian in Google Classroom. Parents can instantly see if their student has an assignment and if they turn the assignments in.
Staff Office Hours:
Each teacher will be available every Wednesday during their office hours. During these hours, teachers will be available to answer questions and provide assistance to students and parents. Office hours may be provided through Zoom, Google Meet, or by phone.
The High School will post a complete list of all departments' office hours on the district website. You will also be able to find teacher's office hours on their email signatures as well as their Google Classroom.
If a teacher does not answer during office hours, it is likely that they are helping another student/family. Please leave a message, and they'll connect with you.
