NEW ITEM: EOY Writing Samples
Teachers in all grade levels may use the Snapshot 3 writing piece as their EOY writing sample. They will attach the completed snapshot rubric for scoring purposes. The writing samples and completed rubrics should be placed in the students’ yellow folders.

This resource contains great activities linked to the readiness standards as well as ideas on how to appropriately begin spiraling instruction from previously taught skills and not waiting until the week prior to the assessment.
The District Snapshot 3 for Grades 3, 4, and 5 will be the 2018 released STAAR assessment. The 2018 released STAAR assessment has been loaded into the District Snapshot 3 folder as well as the scantron has been loaded into AWARE under the district snapshot area

The Elementary Curriculum Department has been working on ways to further support teachers and students. After each snapshot, teachers can access additional resources and videos to support instruction for students on low-performing standards. Responding to the Data. The link will direct teachers to a tab on GPS that will house videos, documents, and resources. The math misconception flipgrid allows teachers to interact and post their comments and ideas, as well. This resource will continue to develop throughout the year.
