Medical Volunteering During UGA Breaks
Did you know that most medical clinics in Africa, Peru and Guatemala are understaffed and underfunded? Azma International is seeking volunteers to work in medical clinics and hospitals throughout these countries. These programs are particularly suited for those volunteers who are interested in health issues and doing ‘hands on’ clinical work. Volunteer with Azma International and make a difference!
Azma International invites applications to participate in one of three volunteer programs offered during the winter break 2015, spring break 2016 and summer vacation 2016. The volunteer opportunities are offered in Kenya, Guatemala and Peru. Volunteers in this program have the opportunity to work in the areas of general medical practice, maternal health, minor surgery and laboratory work.
If you are unable to participate during spring, summer or winter breaks but would still like to experience a volunteer trip, we have programs available year-round. Visit us at www.azmainternational.org.
