Malleability
The ability of a solid to be hammered without shattering
Things that are malleable can bend and twist a bit before breaking like gold. Gold and other metals are bent to shape things like parts of a machine or to make a ring.
Things like ice or glass are not malleable and will break when hammered. Also when metals or most malleable objects are frozen they stop being malleable.
