Staff Memo - Meeting Update
March 10, 2015

How are you feeling?
Tired? Exhausted? Energized? Dejected? Upbeat? Stressed?
Check this out -
"Attitudes are contagious, is yours worth catching?
Our attitudes after all, influence our actions, and if we act in a negative way towards others we tend not to get the results we are looking for. Others will react to our actions driven by our negative attitudes and the end result is that we actually defeat ourselves by our own attitude. We see it happen in others all the time.
Our attitudes are the mental filters through which we choose to view our world." - Andy McMenemy
This is a tough time of year - it's difficult for all of us! Please let Jocelyn and I know how we can help you. Sometimes, just by trying to be positive, it helps everything be seen in a different light :)

You won't have to worry about getting one of these ribbons today ;)
We won't have a dedicated staff meeting today, but please start thinking about what you will need for Open House so we don't get bombarded at the end.
Jocelyn sent you an email yesterday regarding questions for Open House and an activity. Please take a look at that and respond to her if you haven't already.
Think about anything else you might need and let us know :)
We will eat dinner as a staff at 5PM that day. Mike is making mostaccioli and pesto pasta with salad and garlic bread. We'll have a chance to eat and relax and enjoy each other's company.

Gentle Reminders....
Please cc me on correspondence with parents. We do have a lot of parents who call and discuss matters with me (which is totally fine) but I don't like to be blindsided. Even if you think something might not be worth sending, send it anyway. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Stations of the Cross begins promptly at 2:30pm on Friday. Please be over there with more than enough time to get yourselves situated. We are not only representing our school but the Parish and Fr. Jim. When we arrive late to Stations it looks bad on all of us. I would prefer if Fr. Jim didn't have to remind us again that we need to be on time.

Please remember that your class should never be left unattended. Not only is it a safety hazard, it is against the law for us to leave them unsupervised. If you need anything from the office (even coffee!) send Jocelyn and I a message and we will get it to you. If it is an emergency and you need to leave the room, send us a message and we will come and watch your class. It can be difficult sometimes, but the safety of the children HAS to be our first priority.
