June 7, 2019 - Week 38

Dear Parents:

As we end our year, I want to thank you! I have so many things to be thankful for:

  • An amazing group of educators who work hard for your kids
  • A fabulous PTO who does whatever it takes to do good things for our RedHawks
  • An administrative team who supports kids and the vision and mission of our school
  • Our kids who work hard and put forth effort into their work
  • And to YOU who support us in ways we can't even count!

Enjoy your summer! Rip the technology out of your children's hands and take walks, go swimming, read books, cook together... whatever it takes to connect from technology and connect to you!

Thanks for a great year!

Tim

Worth The Read!

As we head into the summer, please take a moment to read the article “When the Lazy Days of Summer Are Too Lazy” - Here’s how you can make sure that your kids unglue themselves from screens and devices by Joyce Mabe. This former school counselor is a proud mom of two sons (one with ADHD) who now devotes her time to providing frustrated, discouraged parents of teens with ADHD the kind of help and support she wishes she had when she was raising her son with ADHD. We hope you find this article helpful in giving some great activities to try with your kids. Enjoy the summer!
