A Note from Mrs. Cockrell
Dear Chisholm Trail families,
We are ready for another great week of learning! Last week, the children had their first fire drill of the year and did an excellent job. Ask your child to tell you about how we do fire drills at school and remind them of the importance of this practice.
The children continue to do a fantastic job wearing masks and following all of our safety protocol. Thank you for sending them with masks and for continuing to remind them of the importance of following these different rules this year.
We are so excited that it is almost time for library books to begin coming home with students. You will get more information from your child's teacher soon. The children have been learning how to take good care of books in their library time. We hope that you will enjoy some reading time at home with your children. Some of my favorite childhood memories are of going to the library with my mom. Reading can be a fun time together for you and your children. I hope you and your child have an opportunity to curl up with a good book and read together just for fun.
Thank you for sharing your children with us!
Cari Cockrell
