Rockledge African-American Living Museum
On Tuesday, February 28th Rockledge will be hosting it's first African-American Living Museum in recognition of Black History Month. We are excited about providing this experience for our students, but what we are most excited about is we want YOUR child to participate. Families have the opportunity to have their child sign up to create a presentation and dress up representing a historical or current African-American figure that has made a difference. Click on this link to sign up your child. And click on the document below for full details.
ROCKLEDGE BOOSTER THON: TWO MORE DAYS!
This year Rockledge Elem. has a goal to raise $10,000 for an outdoor classroom, teacher grants and other PTA projects. We are nearing our fundraising goal, but still need your help to keep the momentum going! The first step to helping our school is registering! — Register your student on MYBOOSTER.COM today! The next step is to SHARE your student's pledge link with family and friends, and GIVE to our school if you are able. If you're looking for the easiest way to ask for donations you can… 1) Upload a photo of your student to mybooster.com to create a personalized Student Star Video. This fun video starring your child can be shared by email or social media to connect with sponsors and ask for a pledge! 2) Enter emails using the Easy Emailer tool on your Student’s Dashboard. It makes connecting with family and friends simple! 3) Share your student’s donation link via social media, text, and other communication platforms! All it takes is a few small donations to make a BIG difference! Thanks for supporting Rockledge Elem. during our fundraiser this year!
SPREAD KINDNESS IN OUR COMMUNITY!
Our second service project is here and is being lead by
Akoko Duro!
Families, you received your bag of chalk last week. Let's continue "drawing" our community kind. Draw pictures and write words of inspiration throughout the community. Send us pictures, we would love to see how our EAGLES are spreading kindness.
Even post them on social media with the hastags #4Nests1Family #KindnessEverywhere and don't forget to tag us @RockledgePWCS.
