Mrs. Wilson's Language Class
November 2-6
First Week of November for 6th Grade
We also started our annotated text for the week titled, "The Man Who Saved a Thousand Babies." This is a story about Vivien Thomas, a man who helped find a cure for blue baby syndrome.
On Tuesday, Sixth graders did some final editing to their papers to prepare for typing the rest of the week. They had Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of class time to type. Their papers are due on Monday. I understand that we don't have school on Monday but they can still submit it via Google Docs.
Next week we will be wrapping up our narrative unit and moving into readers workshop.
7th Grade Language Arts
Tuesday students started typing their narrative writing. Students had Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in class to type. If they didn't use my time, they need to work on it at home. It is due on Monday. I understand that we don't have school on Monday but they can still submit it via Google Docs.
Friday we started to share out the great writing they did.
Next week we will be wrapping up the narrative unit and move into our readers workshop.
