STEAM NIGHT - FEBRUARY 11 FROM 5-7 PM

Steam Night will be held on February 11, the first night of conferences. Families will have an opportunity to have their STEAM questions answered. Families considering McKinley are also invited to attend. Exhibitors will be in the gym with hands-on activities, door prizes, food and student performances. Variety Show tickets will also be on sale. More information including volunteer sign-up will soon be available.

CONFERENCES

McKinley conferences will be Monday, February 11, and Thursday, February 14, from 3 pm to 8 pm. You do NOT need to sign up ahead of time, and you may speak to as many teachers as you wish.

Students can attend conferences.

If you have not E-Registered your student, you can do so in the main office. If students are not E-Registered, they will not be able to go on field trips. In addition, it's important for the school to have current contact information.

Tickets for the McKinley Variety Show will be on sale during conferences. Steam Night will be on Monday, February 11.

TEACHER/STAFF APPRECIATION

The McKinley PTA Hospitality Committee would like to show the McKinley staff that we appreciate all they for our students. This year we have been doing something every Friday to show our appreciation. If you’d like to participate, please sign up below to bring in something of your choice for the McKinley staff. Ideas would include bagels, cookies, chips and salsa, cut up veggies or it doesn't even need to be food. It could be handwritten notes from the kids or a poster board with some pictures of 'what's up' at McKinley. The internet has tons of great ideas… :)

Our positive acknowledgement system centers on the use of BEAR paws. Students can use BEAR paws for various incentives including pizza parties on Friday’s as well as purchasing items at the BEAR paw store.
