Message From Our Principal
STEM Families,
Winter is here and it is hard to believe we are almost halfway through our school year! Watching our students grow brings us so much joy. Thank you for sharing your children with us. In addition I would like to extend a special thank you for your support and successful passage of the Adams 12 3D bond measure. The district is working with contractors to determine the construction schedule for our building reconstruction project, please watch for more information to come.
As we prepare for winter weather, please remember to send your children to school with coats, hats and gloves, as we try to get outside for recess daily. Also, note all items left in the lost and found are being donated on December 16. Stop by and claim items that may belong to you.
Know that your child's safety is our number one concern. Please help us by remembering to use the crosswalks when picking up or dropping off your child(ren), there are crosswalks at the 4 way stop at Phillips and Irma as well as one at Phillips and Wyco. If you choose to park on the north side of Phillips please go down the sidewalk to one of the crosswalks to get to our property. Be aware of your speed when pulling into the hug and go lane along Phillips Drive. For the safety of students and drivers do not make u-turns on Phillips Drive. Please explore the streets surrounding the school to find quick and easy alternate routes rather than making a u-turn on Phillips.
STEM Lab continues to improve our communication with families. Watch for up to date information on our website and through the Parent Portal, IC messaging, text messaging and from your child's teacher. Please contact our office anytime you have a change in your contact information or need assistance accessing Parent Portal.
We hope you spend this holiday season creating lasting memories with family and friends.
Happy Holidays,
Tracy Tellinger
Principal
