Don't Forget Those Box Tops!
Did you know that for every box top we collect, we earn $.10? It might not seem like a lot, but if each student brings in a few, it adds up quickly. Last year, we collected more than 6000 Box Tops during our class Box Top Contest.
This year, classes are vying for a movie and popcorn party. Help your child's class collect the most Box Tops in the school and they just might win! Simply clip those unexpired Box Tops and send them in to school in a bag marked with your teacher's name before Feb. 1.
Not sure what items might have a valuable Box Top? Check out the current list of participating products here.

News From Around the District
Help Needed for the Speakers' Lounge
Although students are off on Monday, Jan. 21, our BRRSD faculty will be attending an In-Service Day at the high school. Throughout the day, they'll attend classes hosted by our own BRRSD faculty.
Our Council of Schools Association (CSA), consisting of our PTO's in district, will be continuing their tradition of hosting a Speakers' Lounge during the day. This casual space will be filled with snacks and goodies to recognize the teachers who are speaking and give them a place to unwind before or after they speak. The CSA has arranged for donations, but needs some help picking up food and snacks the day of the event. We'll let you know where to go - you just need a car to pick up and get it to the high school. Volunteers will be on hand to meet you curbside to get the donations into the Speakers' Lounge.
If you can assist, please contact bgsptopresident@gmail.com and we'll get you in touch with the CSA planning team.
