Monday Morning Message
Week of May 21 2018
End of the Year Notes
Once again the weekend weather was in our favor! Enjoy this last week with you kiddos!
- Field Day Tuesday: We will go ahead with the same schedule we had for planned on for Friday. 1st - 4th grade students ordering a sack lunch from the cafe can come grab it at 8:30. Kindergarten students can come grab their sack lunches at 9:15. This will allow everyone to just have their lunch and you can eat at any time that you choose between the 11:00 -12:00 time frame.
- GROW AWARDS: Friday was the deadline, but I am missing a couple. Related arts and SPED may also nominate. We will be sending invites to families by the end of the day Monday, so please submit those names ASAP if you have not done so already!
- Awards Celebration: May 25 - we will start calling classes down around 1:15 to the gym with a start time of 1:30. We hope to finish by 2:00 and start the honor walk by 2:15.

Tim Shanahan PD
3rd and 4th grade teachers: Please remember to sign up in PD Express for the Tim Shanahan workshop on Thursday, May 31st. This is our grant-funded HA workshop for all cluster teachers, but because he is so awesome, we are also opening this up to our 3rd and 4th grade general education teachers, too. You will get a stipend for attending, and we have money to spend for materials you may need after this workshop. Tim is a nationally recognized expert in literacy, so we are fortunate to have our grant fund his visit.
