INFO RE. UPCOMING SCIENCE PROJECT!

Animal/Habitat Technology Project

In Science we will begin to learn about animal habitats and work in groups to

create a Keynote Presentation based on an animal you and your group members

have chosen from a specific habitat.

Begin to gather research about your animal. Make sure to bring your research

to school to share with your group members. Research resources may include

books from your local library, books from home, or printed resources from the

internet.

You will be responsible for researching the following information:

*Animal Habitat

*Animal Description

*Carnivore/Omnivore/Herbivore

*Prey or Predator

*Camouflage (ex. concealing coloration, disruptive coloration, disguise, mimicry)

*Interesting Facts

All resources you gather information from will be cited in your presentation on the

final slide titled: Works Cited.

The presentation will be completed at school with your group members.

The project will culminate in an oral presentation. As an expert, you will teach

your peers about your animal. This oral presentation will be accompanied by your

Keynote Presentation.

Parents:

All students have been organized into groups and have already

chosen their animals.

Have a great rest of the week!
