A Dickens of a Tour!
Charles Dickens in Washington
Saturday, December 28th at Noon!
Join us Saturday the 28th for A Dickensian Tour. We'll visit sites that Charles Dickens went to on his two visits to Washington City. Along the way, our actors perform scenes from his Holiday classic " A Christmas Carol". Now in our 13th year of bringing history to life. Charles Dickens great, great grandson himself (Gerald Charles Dickens) appeared on this tour in 2005!

A Dickens of a Tour!
Tickets $12 adults, $6 under 16 years. The tickets are online at www.historicstrolls.com or at www.ghoststorytourwashington.com or from Mrs. Cratchit at 11:50am before the tour begins. Discount for Military id holders and Military spouses. Portion of proceeds to So Others Might Eat and the tour is accessible.

The Dickens Tour begins at Cosi
the tour begins at Cosi and then proceeds on foot to sites that Dickens visited in the Penn Quarter neighborhood. Natalie leads the tour as Mrs Cratchit from A Christmas Carol.

We are Historic Strolls
Natalie Zanin and the actors of Historic Strolls bring the history of the Washington Metro area to life. Natalie has created walking tours for Civil War Washington, World War Two Washington, the 1960's and the ever popular Ghost Story Tour of Washington (DC's original costumed guided ghost tour since 2001)

Who we are
Natalie Zanin researches and creates original dramas and tours based on historic events and time periods. She recently created a one man show "Thomas Burgess: Canal Lockkeeper" for an event at an historic lock house on the C and O Canal. Our costumer June Schmitz designs period costumes based on antique patterns for our tours and events. The actors are local professionals and some even travel from New York to appear on our tours!
