Alaska Has Many Sites to See!
If you decide to come visit Alaska you will see many different sites! Some amazing historical sites you will see are the Adak Army Base and the Adak Naval Operating Base. It is located on Adak island and was used during WWII.
Alaska Native Brotherhood Hall
The Alaska Native Brotherhood Hall is located on the waterfront of Sitka, Alaska. The Tlingit Indians founded the Brotherhood hall to help stop discrimination against them.
Castle Hill
Castle Hill at Sitka, Alaska is a historical site because it was where the Tlingit and Russian forts were. It was a site where the Russian flag was lowered and the American flag was raised.
Kennecott, Alaska
Kennecott, Alaska is also known as Kennecot Mines. It is a now abandoned mining camp in the area of Valdez-Cordova census. This mining site is located next to the Kennecott glacier.
Denali National Park and Preserve
Denali National Park and Preserver is one of the most popular tourists attractions! The park is open year round and after Memorial Day you must use public transportation to get to places.
