Showcase of the Arts
Hello Jamison Community!
Jamison Elementary School will be hosting a “Showcase of the Arts” event this year on the evening of Thursday, March 16th. All first through sixth grade students are encouraged to participate, and their families and friends are invited to attend!
The evening will be divided into three sets, each of which will include a short music performance of two grade levels in the gym, followed by a self-guided tour of the school to view student artwork as Jamison community members provide additional musical entertainment. The students have already begun rehearsing their songs and creating their masterpieces in Music and Art class, and they are excited to share their creativity with you!
Below is the schedule for the evening:
The Jamison Showcase of the Arts: Thursday, March 16th, 2023
o 1st and 2nd Grade: 6:30 PM - 7:00 PM (6:15 Arrival)
o 3rd and 4th Grade: 7:00 PM – 7:30 PM (6:45 Arrival)
o 5th and 6th Grade: 7:30 PM – 8:00 PM (7:15 Arrival)
Upon arrival, students will be directed to a designated meeting area while audience members may go directly to the gym to find their seats.
Performance attire for the evening will be "concert best," which usually means clothing that is a little nicer than typical school attire. This could include skirts, dresses, collared or button-down shirts, nice pants, seasonal attire, etc. Ultimately, students should wear something comfortable (especially keeping in mind they will be walking up and down stairs and on and off risers) and something that makes them feel happy and confident!
Thank you in advance for attending this important event, and for supporting the arts here at Jamison Elementary. We can’t wait to see you in March!
With Joy,
The Showcase Team
Mr. Harry Bower (Music), Mr. Frank Cerauli (4th Grade), Mrs. Donna Hartzell (Music) Mrs. Amanda Kelly (Music), and Mrs. Amy Palmer (Art)

Classroom Placement 2023 - 2024
Each year Jamison sends out a Classroom Placement form. If you are interested in providing some input, please read the form that is located on our website.
Please realize that teacher/grade level assignments are not complete until June or later and there could be teacher movement within grade levels.
2023 - 2024 Enrollment
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Each year at this time it is necessary for us to determine, as nearly as possible, our enrollment for the coming school year. Your assistance in helping us arrive at this preliminary estimate is greatly appreciated. If your child will not be returning to Jamison for the 2023-2024 school year, please email Mrs. Bradley, Principal's Secretary, at lbradley@cbsd.org to indicate whether they will be attending a private/parochial school or if your family will be moving from the Jamison attendance area next year.
Thank you.

We Salute You Award:
This is a monthly award given to a student that a staff member feels is dedicated to being the best person they can be in all that they do. This award can be given to a student that goes out of his/her way to help a friend, is a great classmate, and gives 110% in everything he/she does. This student receives a certificate at our monthly assembly as well as a Jamison Jet T-Shirt.
February’s Winner:

Golden Ticket Winners:
When a student is caught doing something exceptional (respect, responsibility, safe community, sportsmanship, demonstrating unbelievable character), they can receive a GOLDEN JET Ticket.
February’s Winner:
· Oliver Snyder
Jet Ticket Winners:
When students are “caught being good”, a Jamison staff member can recognize their behavior by giving them a JET Ticket. The student must write his/her name on the ticket and circle the appropriate character trait (Respect / Responsibility / Safe Community / Sportsmanship). Students place the JET Tickets in the Ticket Box located outside of the Main Office. Then, three students from grades K-3 and three students from grades 4-6 are randomly drawn at our monthly assembly and are given Jet T-Shirts.

· Ben Dorf
