Principal Update
August 27, 2021
Dear Families,
We completed our first week of school and I can't begin to describe the amount of positive energy we all felt when the students entered the building this week. It always feels great when the students are back here, but this year it was just extra special.
Thanks to all the parents and staff members who made the start of the school year so positive. I want to give a special shout out to our staff. Teamwork and collaboration have been amazing! Their willingness to listen and help students has been exceptional. If you see a teacher out in the community, please let them know how much you appreciate the efforts they are putting forth. .
I hope your children have come home full of excitement and fun stories to share. Please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teachers or myself if you have any questions at all. We are here to help.
Have a spectacular weekend!

School Safety Updates for 2021-2022
Improvements have been made this summer to our safety features at school regarding visitors to the District. The entry process and expectations are as follows:
- Visitors must scan their ID at the Raptor kiosk (located in the front foyer) for every visit to gain entry into the building past the front foyer.
- Upon approval, visitors will be buzzed into the office to receive their ID sticker from office staff.
- Visitors, not needing to enter the building may continue to "buzz” in at the A/V box outside our school's front office door for assistance.
While these changes are not as convenient as the past, they help to add more security to our school to keep our children as safe as possible! Thank you for your cooperation with these important safety measures!
