Partner Reading
We practiced partner reading today. Partners take turns reading or sharing, they have the book in the middle of them and the sit side by side. They also listen and look at the book while their partner is sharing.
Other areas...
Team names
We have new table mates! Everyone shared the things they like and then designed their own section of the puzzle. They put it together to make a unique football.
See Saw
We made an attempt to draw a number bond and explain how the two parts make a whole on the SeeSaw app. We had a few glitches--like not hitting the record button to do the explanation... we will keep working on this.
Social Studies
Our essential questions is how are families alike and different. One way to figure this out was to make a family tree. We also made a class graph of how many people are in our family.
Math
Making number bonds...we never stop making them!
Second Steps
Second steps is our social emotional program that we do once a week for 25 minutes. This week we practiced listening rules and waiting our turn.
Top Dog: Connor
Connor's favorite animal is a seahorse. He loves to eat burgers! He is pawsome at soccer and reading. When he grows up, he wants to be a Fireman.
Doggy Bag
