Loggerhead Families,
Happy April! When we return from Spring Break, we will have less than 35 days of school. Our teachers will be working hard to make sure our students are ready for the next grade. I appreciate all of their hard work as they close out the year on a strong note.
We are so excited to celebrate NAEYC's Week of the Young Child this week. Our teachers have many fun activities planned with our youngest learners, such as "Tasty Tuesday" and "Work Together Wednesday." We are so proud of our staff for creating an environment that is child-centered and developmentally appropriate.
Mr. Sims and I are already looking ahead to 2023-2024, and we need your help. If your child will attend Laurel Hill next year, we need you to complete the 23-24 LHP Student Enrollment Survey. This survey will give us vital information that we will use when forming classes for next year. Please read through the survey in its entirety and answer the questions in detail. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Saturday, April 22 is our annual Turtle Trot and Spring Carnival! We are excited to bring back this family-friendly event to our campus. Please see the PTA section below for more details.
Our SIC is proud to announce that we will be hosting a Blood Drive with the American Red Cross. The Blood Mobile will be on campus on Monday, May 8. If you are interested in donating, you may sign up here
If you have not yet completed the School Climate Survey, we encourage you to complete that by April 7. Please email Mr. Sims if you have any questions.
