ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT SIGNING DAY
SENIOR ATHLETE/PARENT/GUARDIAN
If you are interested in participating in the Waunakee Athletic Department Signing Day, please complete the survey below. The Waunakee Athletic Department follows NCAA National Letter of Intent dates for our signing events. Seniors will be requested for a Contact Time to review the process and answer any questions students may have. There will also be an email message sent to families before the signing dates. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Activities Department at aaronmay@waunakee.k12.wi.us.
Per High School Co-curricular code the signing ceremony is only available to student-athletes that competed for Waunakee High School Athletics during their senior year. See page 24 of the Co-curricular handbook for more information.

The Community Ed office has some classes that will be taking place at the Innovation Center this spring. The Adult/Guardian/Child Birdhouse Workshop (registration is currently open) and the Adult Laser Cut Candle Workshop (registration opens March 10).

Parents and Guardians are encouraged to join Principal Borowski for the PAC meeting scheduled for Monday, April 3rd at 6:00 p.m. Topics of discussion to include: Referendum updates, Pre-ACT, Student Voice Summit, Infinite Campus Workflow, Prom, Parking.

COLLEGE APPLICATION REMINDERS
Reminder to Seniors that have applied to Colleges -
Update the application results in Naviance under “Colleges I’m applying to.”
If you have made a decision on which college you will be attending in the fall, please indicate this under the “College that I’m attending” drop down in your Naviance account.
Be sure to request your Final Transcript in Naviance to be sent to the institution you plan to attend. Final transcripts will be sent in mid-June once final grades are posted.
Please pay the one time $15 Transcript Fee in the Infinite Campus School Store if you have requested, or plan to request, a transcript to be sent to a college.
Please stop in the Counseling Office with any questions.
LOCAL SCHOLARSHIPS ARE DUE
Seniors! Local scholarships are due Monday, April 3rd at 11:59 PM. All scholarships can be accessed in Naviance. Login to your Naviance student account to apply! PreACT Assessment for Grades 9 & 10
Wisconsin students in 9th and 10th grade will be participating in the PreACT Assessment as part of the required state assessment system. This will be administered in-person at the high school on:
Tuesday, April 4 from 8:00 a.m.-11:15 a.m. for Freshmen
Wednesday, April 5 from 8:00 a.m.-11:15 a.m. for Sophomores
Students need to bring their school issued Chromebook fully charged and their power cord. Students should arrive between 7:45-8:00 a.m. on their testing day. Please note, if you have multi-day testing accommodations for this assessment, you may need to attend both days, check your email for further instructions. These two days will be 3-hour late start days for high school students who are not testing. After school activities will take place after school, as scheduled. SOPHOMORES TESTING
Wisconsin students in 10th grade will be participating in the Forward Exam assessment in Social Studies. This test will be administered in-person at the high school April 11 or 12 during students' regular AP US History or US History class. The Forward Exam is a computer based assessment and tests students in the area of social studies. It is a required state test. More information is available about the Forward at this link. PROM 2023 DANCE
Prom will be held at the High School on Saturday, April 22 from 8:00-11:00 p.m. The theme of the dance is Midnight Ball. Students will receive more information during next Monday's Advisory. Juniors & Seniors, watch your email for a follow-up message on how to purchase tickets. Use your student ID number as the promo code. Prom ticket $15 - Post Prom ticket $10.

POST PROM '23
Tickets going on sale soon through GoFan!
Post Prom - A Night in Vegas is an event that extends the Prom festivities for a few hours after the dance at the High School. The event is designed to keep our students celebrating in a safe environment at the Waunakee Village Center. This event opens at 10:30 p.m. and allows entry until 11:30 p.m., and ends at 2:00 a.m. Students will be able to enjoy casino games, trivia, food, music, and photo opportunities, and will wrap up the night with an opportunity to win PRIZES!
Who can attend Post Prom? Post Prom is a ticketed event ($10 each) and tickets can be purchased through GoFan for any Waunakee High School junior or senior class member (even if they choose not to attend Prom), and for any guest approved to attend Prom. Tickets should be purchased in advance and students must enter the Village Center by 11:30 pm with no re-entry. Students must be present to win PRIZES.
