Superintendent's Update
March 28, 2020
Change In Plans!
Dear Families:
In order to maintain more effective social distancing practices, we have decided that instead of having families come to schools to pick up their printed work packets or loaner Chromebooks, CCPS staff members will make deliveries to the home of any student who has requested them.
Chromebooks are being offered to students who do not have access to a device at home in grades 3-12 only, while packets are available for students PreK through 12 as requested if the family cannot access the internet.
If you have not already been in touch with your child’s school about needing a packet or device please email your school principal, leave a voicemail at the school with your child’s name and address, or contact the Board Office at 410-996-5400 and leave a message. You can also email us directly at coronavirusquestions@ccps.org. We expect deliveries to begin this Monday. Again, paper packets of work will only be provided upon request.
Thank you for your continued cooperation and support of our students.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey A. Lawson, Ed.D.
