Latin Jazz
Haley Clark
Out of all of those music genres, I personally enjoyed Latin Jazz the most. Latin Jazz (also known as Afro-Cuban Jazz), is most popular around Cuba. Latin Jazz originated in Cuba, and is still very popular there. Since Latin Jazz is most popular in Cuba, this also means that Cubans are the type of people who listen to this music the most. This genre of music came about around the time of the 1940's-1950's. Latin Jazz has some Brazilian influences, but a few of the main instruments are the bongo, acoustic guitar, and the tambourine. There aren't any specific events that this is for, since it is just everyday kind of music and there aren't any costumes that are affiliated with it. Latin Jazz is still very commonly played and listened to today in Cuba and other hispanic places.
