Tech Suggestions from Carri3H3nry
Flipgrid
Take class discussion to a new level! Flipgrid allows your students to record answers or explanations in a short video snip-it. Even though you can hear a bit of background noise from the classroom, our chromebooks did an excellent job of capturing student responses clearly. This can be integrated in a variety of ways such as, recording KWL, predictions about text, reflection or connections made while reading. Students could use Flipgrid to explain in detail vocabulary, mathematical reasoning or a scientific process. Assignments from Flipgrid can be added to your Google Classroom with just one click. This is one type of tech integration that excites the learner, and gives the teacher a glimpse of what the student really understands.
