Annual Parent Involvement Survey
Who: Families of students who are receiving special education services
What: Each state is required to conduct a parent survey to measure parent/family perceptions of the success of parent engagement between home and local schools.
When: Available January 23, 2023 – May 31, 2023
Where: Parents can complete the survey via the survey link below. We ask that a copy of the attached letter be sent home with every SWD student. Additionally, we ask that the letter(s) and survey link be posted on your special education teacher's e-class pages as well as your school website. Our goal is to ensure that all parents are aware of the survey and have the opportunity to participate.

Help Shape the 2023-2024 School Year!
Are you someone who wants to help shape the 2023-2024 school year for your children? Are you enthusiastic about our school and its students? Do you have good people skills? Are you ready to be part of an amazing group of dedicated and talented parents? Then the Dyer Elementary PTO Board of Directors is the place for you!
We are currently looking for nominations (you may nominate yourself or others) for the following Board of Directors Positions:
- Director
- Assistant Director
- Communications Secretary
- Recording Secretary
- Treasurer
- Assistant Treasurer
To nominate yourself (or someone else), simply fill out this electronic nomination form. You may submit as many nominations as you like.
Nominations are due by Friday, 3/17/23
Elections will be held at the PTO's General Membership on Friday, April 28th at 3:15PM.

We use a variety of tools to communicate such as the Parent Portal/ParentVUE, our school website, email, weekly school newsletters (The Bear Essentials), Facebook and the PBIS Rewards Parent app! Please be sure we have your current email address on file; this can be updated by our office staff (photo ID required).
