Principal's Corner
Greetings to all our Sneed Parents and Staff,
We have had an eventful April so far and we still have another few weeks to go! Sneed families were fortunate to experience our informative first annual STAAR Night. Our hard working staff wanted to prepare for our Spring testing. Our students were so proud demonstrating their STAAR Writing, Math, and Reading strategies for their parents. Sneed administrators want to thank our parents for your continued support and participation. We are extremely proud of the hard work observed in our classrooms this year. Praise your children for their hard work and continue to encourage them to do their very BEST! Please continued to support your children and their teachers as we prepare for the STAAR Reading and Math tests for third and fourth grade students AND the district curriculum assessments (DCA) for our kinder through second graders in May. Remember that we need your assistance in making sure that all students arrive every day and on time. Sneed learning begins at 7:55 am. Every minute they are out of the classroom is a minute of lost learning. Education is vital to our future growth as a community.
Thank you,
Dr. Elizabeth A. Maldonado
Sneed Principal
Uniform Reminders:
Parents, thank you for making sure that our students are here every day ready to learn and be successful. This time of the year, we are preparing to take some important test and are asking for your support in making sure that your children are in uniforms and not missing any instruction. When students aren’t in uniform, they have to come to the office to call home or go to the nurse for a change of clothes which causes them to be out of class missing instruction. Here is our
School Uniform information reminder
Thank you,
Sneed Administration
