ACCOUNTABILITY AT FBMS
All of our clubs at FBMS will be posting upcoming meetings/events via gmail. Check your accounts today to accept important invitations thru canvas.
Personal accountability can be defined as taking ownership of one's thoughts, behaviors, actions, and performance. Someone who has developed a high level of personal accountability is resilient, resourceful, and honest. #PROUDTOBEFBMS
THE UPSTANDERS- THANK YOU MEF
The screening of the movie TheUpstanders was presented last night at MHS by the Marshfield Education Foundation. The movie explores cyber-bullying, bullying among friends, families, co-workers and the brain science behind it all. The film highlights new laws and programs already reducing bullying in schools and shows us how we can learn to make a difference together. They believe there is power in watching as a community, power to change, and permission to talk about it. This is the 3rd film that the MEF has screened and is also the 3rd in the trilogy that IndieFlix Films has produced. MEF also brought Screenagers in 2018, and Angst in 2019. The goal and hope is that this conversation starter will spark more dialog around these important documentaries.

ATTENDANCE AT FBMS
Congratulations to out 7th graders AGAIN ..who took the win for attendance this week!
Getting to school on time is another habit to build. When parents say it is okay to be late to their children, they're not helping to develop good habits for success. Please help us by getting your child to school by 7:40AM. Be sure technology is shut down before bed time, and help to create a structured night and morning routine that your child can own and implement.
Starting the day late also increases anxiety. Arriving timely anywhere demonstrates responsibility and is a great habit to build now.
We can't do it without you. Let's build good habits that last a lifetime!

Cold and Flu season is here. Illnesses that present with fevers, respiratory symptoms, and GI symptoms can spread easily in school. Please help us keep FBMS healthy this winter by adhering to the 24-hour symptoms free policy and allowing time for your children to recuperate following illnesses before sending them back to school.
Encourage hand washing and proper cough/sneeze techniques.
