Hello to our Leopard Families from the Family Resource Center. I want to continue to share the final three tips from the University of Kentucky Center on Trauma and Children regarding the positive effects of social interactions on one's mental health. These tips are to encourage us to build strong social networks to sustain us during these challenging times.

Reading Royalty Literacy Program was a great success - so much wonderful reading! Selected books have been distributed to classrooms & Reading Royalty winners for each grade will be announced shortly. Thanks to Mistie K. & Andrea M. for getting the program running. Presentation summary
One lingering pandemic hardship for teen parents is reducing excessive gaming after teens had open access to screens. Dr. Sussman, a gamer himself, will talk about gaming through the pandemic, today’s popular streaming games, and why balancing low dopamine and high dopamine activities is key.
