LS Library Newsletter January 2017
In seed-time learn, in harvest teach, in winter enjoy-Blake
READING SUGGESTIONS
A timely and multifaceted portrayal reveals a lifestyle that is as diverse as it contrary to what we've come to expect.
Fascinating is the story of how one boy followed his dreams to become one of the most beloved figures of our time.
A NOTE FROM MRS. KNAUER
I hope everyone had a restful and fun filled break. There were not as many books added last month as it was a short month . The new book list reflects this, but contains enjoyable reads for LS students across the grades.
Weeks in January will be spent looking at new books, looking at contenders for this years Caldecott and Newbery Medals, and learning about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
We will attempt another build on the Lego wall, this time making interconnecting hearts in hopes of building one huge heart for Valentines Day. Keep your fingers crossed!!!!
