Lakeland Ridge Weekly Update!
Tuesday, April 6, 2021
Welcome Back! We hope you all had a chance to relax and safely enjoy Spring Break and Easter. As you know, the number of COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Alberta. Every morning during our daily announcements, we remind students about our COVID-19 protocols and what each of us can do to keep one another safe. This morning, teachers also spoke to students about the importance of following all the guidelines. A copy of the COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire can be found here. Please ensure that students are completing the questionnaire daily and if they are feeling unwell, to please stay home and contact the school. Thank you for your cooperation.
For those parents with children in grades 6, 7 and 8 who will be attending Lakeland Ridge next year, you will receive information via School Messenger Thursday afternoon outlining how to select options for next year. School administration is visiting classes this week to speak with students about the process.

Visitors in School
We want to thank all parents, students, and staff for doing their part to ensure everyone is safe and healthy. Every morning before coming to school all students must complete the daily COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire.
Parents are reminded that they need to make an appointment to enter the school, as non-essential visitors and contractors are not permitted in the school or workplace without an appointment. Please call or email the school ahead of time to book an appointment. Individuals should not enter an EIPS building if feeling unwell or have COVID-19 symptoms—fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny nose, loss of smell or taste, nausea, pink-eye. Visitors must sign in at the office (after having made an appointment), practice physical distancing while here, and wear masks properly.
