On December 5, 2022, the Methacton Board of School Directors held their re-organization meeting. The meeting resulted in the re-appointment of Ms. Liz Drummond as Board President and Ms. Jen Cancro as Vice President -- each to serve another one-year term. The Board approved their meeting schedule for 2023.

Congratulations to Methacton’s Award of Excellence honorees for December 2022. They are: Dana Hyman, 4th Grade Teacher; Nadine Solecki, 2nd Grade Teacher; Cyndi Kirschner, 1st Grade Teacher; Dot Monkovic , Instructional Aide; Lisa Olivieri, Instructional Aide; and, Melissa Nikollaj, Office assistant.

New this year, a volunteer each month will be awarded the Award of Excellence for their dedication and contributions to the Methacton School District.

Julie Stephens was recognized for her work to support the Worcester students and staff as a dedicated volunteer.

All of these outstanding individuals provide support for students, staff, and our community. They are valuable team members and we are pleased to share with everyone how much we appreciate their commitment to the students of the Methacton School District.

A very special thank you to Spencer DeMott and Savannah McClure for representing Worcester Elementary School as Junior Board Representatives for December 2022. Spencer opened the meeting by reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. Savannah delivered a statement on what makes Worcester such a special school.
