PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear Lincoln Parents and Guardians,
May is already here . . .only about 4 more weeks to go!
I want to welcome the families of the Class of 2024 (current 5th Grade!) to the Lincoln Newsletter! Each year we spend the month of May bidding farewell to our 8th Grade and welcoming our incoming 6th Grade! COVID restrictions, as you know, have changed how we bid goodbye and say hello to our students and families. Please rest assured, however, that we are making headway on 8th Grade Graduation and 5th Grade Orientation plans!
During the week of May 17, I will be visiting both elementary schools to talk to the students in the Class of 2024. I look forward to this visit, and am happy to be able to visit in-person this year. Also, I hope to offer in-person tours to our incoming 6th Grade sometime over the summer. This will take a bit of planning due to social distancing and building construction, but it is my goal to offer these tours.
8th Grade families should watch for an email from me sometime next week as I will be able to share some information about graduation and other end-of-year events. COVID has presented many difficult challenges this year, but Lincoln staff is excited to work towards a memorable conclusion to our graduates' time in District 57.

FYI from the Office: Spirit Wear was distributed to in-person learners. Remote orders can be picked up in the front office.
