Car Rider Information
The easiest and most efficient way for your children to get to and from school is the district provided transportation. Our busing system is set in place to transport NBE students safely and efficiently.
If your student needs to be a car rider more than occasionally and you have not yet received a car tag, please email Michelle at mayres@hse.k12.in.us with your name, your student's name and your 4 digit FastLane number to get your car tag.
Please be sure hang the car tag from your
rear view mirror each day
to help expedite the pick up process.

2 hour delay FAQ
1. Will NBE still serve breakfast on 2 hour delay days?
No breakfast will be served on 2 hour delay days.
2. Will the bus still pick my student up for 2 hour delay days?
The bus schedule will run 2 hours later than the usually scheduled pick up time. (For example: if your child is usually picked up at 8:27 a.m., then on a 2 hour delay day you should expect the bus to pick your student up at 10:27 a.m.)
3. Can I bring my student to school early?
School starts at 10:50 on 2 hour delay days. Unless your student is registered to attend YMCA Before-School care, students may not arrive to school early.
4. Does school end early on 2 hour delay days?
Dismissal time is the same time for 2 hour delay days.
Safe Visitor News!
Parents,
Do you keep misplacing your SafeVisitor badge? Or does your barcode keep getting buried in new pictures on your phone?
We have exciting news for you: There is now a SAFEVISITOR app!
Go to the App Store. Type in SafeVisitor (no spaces) and follow the instructions to download the app. Use the 5 digit code that prints out on a SafeVisitor Badge by the barcode. This will save on phone and all you have to do when checking into an HSE school is pull up the app
*If you don't have a copy of your SAFEVISITOR badge code, just wait until you visit an HSE school again and get the code from that badge to input into the app.
