Faculty and Students Proud As Austinville Teacher Performs
Mrs. Pat Brooks-Parker has a love of children and has enjoyed her seventeen years of teaching at Austinville. Last Sunday, another dream of hers was realized as she was the opening act for a Gospel show at the Von Braun Concert Hall. Mrs. Brooks-Parker has been singing her whole life but since marrying Lee Parker, a music promoter, music has become more prominent in her life. Mrs. Brooks-Parker's colleagues were all too happy to travel to Huntsville to support her. In her spare time, Pat and her husband of ten years are spending some time in a recording studio.
