Principal's Message
Hello Fabulous Harloe Families,
What is it that they say about March? It comes in like a lion and leaves like a lamb? That sure seems appropriate. I hope you and your loved ones are all staying dry and safe through all this weather. Students and staff at Harloe are handling the rain well. We have been able to keep kids outdoors during recesses and most PE times. Thank you to everyone for being patient during rainy days, especially drop-off and pick-up times. I understand how challenging the parking lots and streets are.
Planning for the Harloe talent show is in full swing. We have a fabulous team leading the work. I want to give a shout-out to the following people for their work and dedication. They are working very hard to ensure this year's show is fabulous! Thank you to: Mrs. Scudder, Mrs. Cajas, Mrs. Martinez, Mrs. Prickett, Mrs. Sistek, Mrs. Pock, Mrs. Clarin, Mrs Lewis, Mrs. Holly and Ms. Mettler (Mrs. Lewis' Student Teacher)!
As we begin the third quarter, teachers and students continue to dive deep into learning and Common Core Standards. For our 3rd - 6th grade students, state testing is right around the corner. Classrooms are full of instruction, assessments and learning that provides students with the necessary instruction to reach end of the year standards.
Our goal at Harloe is to always put students first! Please feel free to contact me or your child's teacher with any questions or concerns.
